” 2 Corinthians 12:9″
“Children are created with dignity and intended to be placed in families, cared for in community, advocated by society, secured in hope, affirmed in God’s church, included in God’s mission, and engaged in creation care.”
I am a hopeful single adoptive parent who believes in the supernatural power of Jesus Christ. When I decided to adopt, I began to face many obstacles. I was tempted to be anxious, depressed, and demotivated. Have you ever felt this way when your circumstances did not align with your vision?

Today, I am excited and looking forward to being a parent to a beautiful newborn baby. My deepest prayer is to represent God well by offering this precious soul a life filled with Shalom, where they are fulfilled, prosperous, healthy, and in harmony with themselves, others, and God. However, I cannot do this alone.

Lahairoi and I have been acquainted for several years in the capacity of mentoring and friendship. She is a sister in the Lord. We have prayed about and discussed her interest in adoption, and I agree she has a lot to offer a child. She has always been amazing around my grandchildren, and I trust her completely, and that was a trust that had to be earned.
Lahairoi has been a close friend of our family. She has also been involved with me at my transitional home, Serenity House. She has proven to be a huge encouragement to women in recovery from all types of life circumstances. On many occasions, they have mentioned what an inspiration she has been to them through her attitude of joy and acceptance. She is a hard worker and committed to her health and fitness. This means a lot to women who are doing their best to put their fractured lives back together again. It is encouraging to see her model what we have been preaching.
Lahairoi has attended Bethel Church consistently over the last several years, including riding her bicycle while waiting to purchase her car. She is totally in love with Jesus and has complete faith that his will is all that matters. Lahairoi is a willing participant in outreach opportunities and servanthood.
Lahairoi is also an excellent and determined woman. When she sets her mind to accomplish something, consider it done. She has managed to exceed all expectations in her career and is still looking forward to doing even more. She has secured an apartment that is the location anyone would want.
I appreciate Lahairoi’s heart. I was a foster parent and took in kids outside the system while their mothers were in prison. My husband and I developed the juvenile hall ministry for Bethel Church in 1986; we went in twice per week, and God gave us so much favor for unique outreaches, taking the kids with us for ten years before handing it back over to Bethel, as we switched gears a bit, working Prison Fellowship. I have always enjoyed ministering to those out of the confines of a church.
I only mention my background to speak to the heart of Lahairoi. I see so much of myself in Lahairoi; she loves children, which is needed more than the obvious skills and capabilities. So many children feel rejected and neglected, and many have never experienced true love from a caring parent. She will undoubtedly provide love, joy, and a stable home.
Having had the privilege of knowing Lahairoi for the past decade through her dedicated service on the outreach team and consistent attendance at Bethel Church, I can attest to her unwavering commitment to bettering the lives of those around her. Her compassion, selflessness, and strong moral character make her an exceptional candidate to provide a loving and nurturing home for a child in need.
I am confident that Lahairoi’s loving nature, combined with her strong ties to her community and faith, will make her an excellent parent and role model for any child she welcomes into her life. Her warmth, kindness, and integrity are qualities that will undoubtedly create a loving and supportive environment for a child to thrive.
